Festive Chocolate Chip Cookies:
1 1/2 cups xylitol (can use sugar)
1 cup butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups chopped chocolate.
Beat xylitol, butter, vanilla, and egg. Stir in flour baking soda, and salt. Stir in chopped chocolate.
Drop onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 8-10 mins or until golden.
Once cookies are cooled, melt chocolate. Dip half of the cookie into the melted chocolate, and sprinkle with crushed candy canes. Cool completely before storing.
