This is a quick demo of my new maxforlive MIDI CC Sequencer, controlling the Korg NTS-1. It's a 4 channel, 8-step MIDI CC (Continuous Controller) sequencer that features individual pattern lengths per channel for polyrhythms as well as host or MIDI note-on triggering.
I've deliberately used sustained notes in this demo rather than anything more complex to demonstrate the effect of the sequencer more clearly.
It was created in response to some feedback on my NTS-1 editor, where I was asked if the random generator could be, well, a little bit less random and more repetitive. Here's a link to the demo for that... • Korg NTS-1 maxforlive randomizer demo
Whilst the sequencer was designed with the NTS-1 in mind, it should work equally well with anything which responds to MIDI CC.
