Amazon Prime Refund: The Payout Just Went From $51 to $200 (No Claim Needed)

Описание: Is Amazon sending you a Prime refund? Maybe - and as of this week it could be up to $200, not $51. A court approved a revised order on September 14, 2026, and the FTC announced it on September 17: the cap is raised, more people qualify, and every payment from here is automatic. The claims window closed in July and it no longer matters.

Who qualifies (all three): a Prime customer in the US; you joined through one of the checkout pages the government challenged, or tried to cancel online and couldn't, between June 23, 2019 and June 23, 2025; and you used no more than 20 Prime benefits in any 12 months. Amazon's records decide it. New automatic payments start October 1, 2026. People already paid may get up to $149 more by April 2027 - may, not will.

What you can do: nothing to qualify - there is no claim to file. Make sure you read the email on your Amazon account. Accept the payment within 60 days. The FTC is not contacting anyone about this refund; anyone asking for money is a scam.
