Testing THEtis ANF ( Automátic Notch Filter ) time 13:55

AnF Function (Automatic Notch Filter):
• Purpose: Eliminate unwanted carriers (such as continuous tones, interference signals, or AM radio signals within SSB bands).
• Common use: Remove beeps or continuous carrier interference (like that annoying tone that won’t go away).
• Works best in: SSB modes (LSB/USB), where fixed carriers are not part of the voice signal.
• Automatic: Automatically detects and “notches out” the continuous tone without needing manual tuning.

✅ When to use:
• When there is fixed interference in the middle of an SSB QSO.
• If you hear a constant tone (e.g., from electronic equipment or a carrier from another radio).

⚠️ Note:
• Does not work well with multiple moving carriers or variable modulation (such as CW or AM).
• May slightly affect audio quality if overused.


Função AnF (Automatic Notch Filter):
• Objetivo: Eliminar portadoras indesejadas (como sinais contínuos, tons de interferência ou sinais de rádio AM dentro de bandas SSB).
• Uso comum: Remover bips, interferência de portadora contínua (como aquele tom irritante que não sai do lugar).

✅ Quando usar:
• Quando houver interferência fixa no meio de um QSO em SSB.
• Se você ouvir um tom fixo constante (por exemplo, de algum equipamento eletrônico ou portadora de outro rádio).

⚠️ Atenção:
• Não funciona bem em sinais com múltiplas portadoras móveis ou modulação variável (como CW ou AM).
• Pode interferir levemente na qualidade de áudio se usado em excesso.
