F1's Shallow | How I qualified for the Fishomania Final 2022

Fishing shallow for F1 carp with casters was the tactic that secured his place in the Fishomania Final 2022, catching a staggering 203lb of fish.

The Fishomania Final takes place for the first time at Westwood Lakes near Boston in Lincolnshire. F1 Carp are one of the main species at this venue. This will play into Adams's hands to give him a perfect chance of winning the final.

Fishomania will see anglers battle it out to amass the highest weight on the day and walk away with a whopping £50,000 in prize money, but most importantly, the title of Fishomania champion 2022.

We took the cameras back to the Oaks Lakes in Sessay to fish Cedar Lake, walking you through the match hour by hour to show you how Adam attacked his peg to put together the winning weight fishing shallow for F1s against the reeds, both across and down the edge.

Cedar Lake has 80 pegs, and as Adam felt, he had drawn the best peg on the lake, peg 45. Adam talks you through the rigs he used, the bait and how he fed it and when he rested lines to give him the best chance of catching a big weight of f1 carp that ultimately secured his place in the final for his 5th time.
