Today we show you how to set up your Sidekick saddlebags by Longride: the most efficient mounting system available for retro motorcycle bags.
To use the Sidekick system, you need a compatible saddlebag holder on your motorcycle. This demo is based on a pre-2016 Bonneville for which we do make a bracket. We have brackets for all the 2017 and up classic Triumph motorcycles, the Moto Guzzi V7 III, and many more.
You will receive the saddlebag and the back clamp separately, so you can choose how to position the clamp yourself. By choosing the position of the clamp, you can precisely adjust where you want your saddlebag to be on the motorcycle.
The Sidekick system requires a bit of DIY the first day, so this video describes what you'll need to do.
