Myrtle Beach is located in Horry County, South Carolina, along my country's east coast. It is situated on the center of a large and continuous stretch of beach known as the Grand Strand in northeastern part of the state.
The city enjoys a warm, subtropical climate and extensive beaches that were attracting nearly 14 million visitors each year at the time of this recording. Also, at that time, the city's population was over 27,000 with the Myrtle Beach metropolitan area having a population nearing almost a half million...
