A storm approaches, and we need to sail to a safe anchorage in Atlantic City! We depart the calm waters of Barnegat Bay and head out into the Atlantic Ocean once more. We leave from Little Egg Inlet before the dredging of 2018.
The Jersey Coast has no intracoastal waterway for boats with a deep keel, so we are forced to take on the open waters. At this point we are unaware of the dangers of entering and exiting inlets with wind against current, but this time, we make it safely!
