Ep. 3 Catching Squid & other species | Queenscliff Pier, Portarlington, Warmies, Lakes Entrance

Описание: Gaining confidence and skills, I explored several Port Phillip Bay piers and started targeting other fish species like snapper, mackerel, garfish and whiting. In April we went to Lakes Entrance to catch for prawns at night, fish, mussels and crabs. And in July, inspired by posts seen on Youtube and Facebook fishing pages, I started targeting garfish.

My journey in squid fishing began at Queenscliff Pier when I was invited by a family friend one Australian summer during school holidays of 2016. This activity has now turned into passion. Episode 1 were shots taken from 2016 to 2018. Episode 2 were shots taken from 2019 to November 2020. Episode 3 are photos from late November 2020 to August 2021 just before Melbourne went to Lockdown 6.0. These video compilations are the result of inability to fish due this two-week extended lockdown restrictions with the addition of curfew.

Our seas teem with life. The oceans provide sustenance. It's vastness provides solace in my solitude, and fun for my family and friends.
