Prof. Samudravijay carried out his research activities in the area of speech signal processing at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research for all most 3 decades. Later he was a visiting faculty at IIT Guwahati starting from 2016 – to 2020. His primary research areas include the area of speech recognition, spoken language resources, and their creation. In India, he is one of the top scientist cum professors in speech research.
