Both are installed the same way.

The JSS Battery Box will work with any engine application, whether you have a Chevy LS or Hemi engine. Even if you have an AEV snorkel or most any snorkel out there, this battery box will work.

Our Battery Box is compatible with:
3.6L, 3.8L, 5.7L, 7.4L, Hemi, LX, LS engines

Our box will work with any stock configuration battery.

Our Single Battery Box is great for heat reduction, which is a big plus for larger engines that put out more heat.

We recommend the Dual Battery Box. Having an extra battery is a must have when on treks, trails and out in the wilderness where you need a backup power supply. Whether you're using your extra battery for lighting, winching, your ARB fridge, or "just in case", this is a smart addition for your Jeep.

ALWAYS use caution and follow ALL safety precautions as recommended by the manufacturer of your tools and equipment. ALWAYS wear protective clothing as well as protective eye gear. If you accidentally arc the battery, you risk getting battery acid in your eyes. When disconnecting the power terminals from the battery, ALWAYS disconnect the negative terminal first, then disconnect the positive. Failure to do so can result in the loss of your vision or other serious injuries. ALWAYS use common sense!
