Описание: Once, Lord Brahma visited Mount Kailasa, where Lord Shiva asked him the meaning of the sacred syllable “Om.” When Brahma failed to answer, Shiva grew angry and imprisoned him. Without Brahma, the process of creation stopped, and the Devas approached Lord Vishnu, who advised them to request Shiva to release Brahma. When Shiva asked his son Muruga if he knew the meaning of “Om,” Muruga explained it in great detail — revealing that “Om” itself represents the essence of all creation, the truth of the Vedas, and the Supreme Consciousness. Astonished, Shiva accepted Muruga as his Guru and received the Upadesha (teaching) of the Pranava Mantra from him at Swamimalai. From then on, Lord Muruga is revered as “Swaminatha Swami” — the Guru who taught even Lord Shiva.
