In this video, I’m crafting a mouse pad that will upgrade your desk setup.
For this project, I used embossed cowhide for the surface for smooth mouse movement, and pigskin suede for the back to prevent slipping. By inserting a 1.3mm stiffener inside, the mouse pad gains a nice 3D structure rather than being completely flat, giving it a sophisticated, professional look.
This is a relatively simple project, perfect for beginners! I am providing the pattern for free for a limited time, so please give it a try.
