Note: This presentation contains some make-believe statements for dramatic effect. The video highlights the main arguments for the idea of a pre-tribulation rapture of the church to heaven from the Book of Revelation. There are four main arguments as follows:

Argument # 1: The notion of "the saints" in the tribulation period being another group other than church saints. - This is adding to Scripture, pure and simple. And no additions to Scripture are permitted, especially when it comes to the Book of Revelation.

Argument # 2: The apostle John appearing in heaven illustrates the pre-trib rapture to heaven. - This argument falls on its face because you cannot prove a doctrine from an illustration, especially when the illustration is not consistent, as the video also shows.

Argument # 3: Christ's promise to the church in Philadelphia is said to mean a pre-trib rapture. -There is no evidence in what Christ says that He is referring to a pre-trib rapture. Only a preconceived notion would attempt to force what Christ says to conform to something that is foreign to the message of the whole book.

Argument # 4: The idea of the church being in heaven celebrating the marriage supper during the tribulation period. - This argument is self-defeating because the marriage supper is announced at the time of the Second Coming of Christ as a forthcoming event. This of course means there has been no marriage supper during the preceding tribulation period.

A careful reading of the Book of Revelation reveals that it was not given to show the church what will take place on earth while it is in heaven in the last days, but to prepare the church for what will happen while it is on earth in the last days before Jesus returns.
