Why Faith Must Be Strengthened in the Darkest Times

Allah Most High says in Surah Aal ʿImrān, verse 139:
وَلَا تَهِنُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
"So do not weaken. Do not grieve. You will be superior — if you are [true] believers."

This verse was revealed after one of the hardest days in the life of the Prophet ﷺ — the Battle of Uhud. The tide of the battle had turned. Many beloved companions were martyred. Among them — the Prophet’s own uncle, Sayyiduna Hamza (RA).
The Muslims were in shock. In pain. Grieving. Disheartened. And in the middle of that moment… Allah spoke.
"Do not weaken." Don’t let fear consume your heart.
"Do not grieve." Don’t be paralyzed by your losses.
"You will rise — if you are true believers."

Today, we are witnessing injustice, oppression, and devastation around the world. Our hearts are heavy. Our ummah is wounded.
Many of us feel hopeless — unsure of what comes next.The signs of the End Times are all around us.
And the arrival of Dajjāl may not be far. But this ayah is not just history.
It’s healing.
It’s guidance.
It’s the roadmap forward.

Allah is telling us:
If you want strength, if you want victory, if you want honor… it starts with one thing:
True, unwavering faith.
But real faith — isn’t just a feeling.
It has to be learned.
It has to be earned.
It has to be built with knowledge, reflection, and conviction.
We need to learn who Allah is.
We need to train our minds how to think about Him — how to recognize His signs — and how to trust Him in all circumstances.

That’s why we’ve started this series:

In this series, we’ll explore the foundations of faith:
How do we know Allah exists?
Why must He be One?
How do we know He speaks to us through revelation?
And how can we be sure the Qur’an is truly from Him, and the Prophet ﷺ was sent by Him?

So let’s make that faith strong. Let’s make it unshakable.
Because that — is what will save us in this world… and in the next.
