Ozora festival has played such a huge part in my transformation as a person this past decade. Im simply no longer rhe same boy who walked through those gates 10 years ago.
My love for those people won’t ever diminish but i worry the wrong crowd has infected this sacred space & i don’t see this ever changing.
Capitalism is all concuming, money is the driving force that make companies cut corners on staff & safety. There have been to many nights there where i feared for my own safety but more so the safety of my friends. No one should feel this way when they’re trying to let go of the world.
I hope my words reach the right people, send this to your ozora group chats and have the uncomfotable conversation with your friends - is this the space we want to create? are we heading towards a cliff?
it might not be too late but we must do something
again, ozora has been incredible but for me, it no longer is because i have sobered up to the dark reality of it all…
