Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline right here at Etrailer. And today, we have the STKR Concepts FLi Over-Lander tripod light. This is gonna be a 10-foot-tall floodlight that can illuminate your campsite or your vehicle's area and give you some different options as well for what type of light you may want for your adventures. This is gonna be a mid-range floodlight, meaning it sits at that good, a slightly affordable price while still offering some good features. The main perks of the FLi Over-Lander is that it folds up to be very compact and very lightweight. If you want something that's easy to store inside your car without taking up a lot of space, this is what you would go with.
Now, with that, you do have some other things you have to think about, like because it's so lightweight, you also have to invest in things like steaks or things to weigh the tripod down. Depending on your terrain, you wanna make sure that the legs have some good stable surface so that the light doesn't topple over. Here though, it's a pretty windy day in Missouri. And while the light does sway around a bit, so far, yep, it hasn't fallen over. This is designed to work immediately after you unpack it.
So as long as you keep the battery charged, then you are good to go. This has a 14,000 milliamp internal battery that's gonna be stored right over here. You have a quick LED light indicator to show your battery charge. In order to charge it, you do have some ports, and this works with your USB-A and USB-C ports. Also, if you need to charge your other electronics, you can utilize that battery in an emergency.
This has a 27-inch wide tripod base, so it utilizes three reinforced legs to hold your light up while the legs are on the thinner and lighter side, since the whole system is pretty lightweight, it all works fine. At the end of the leg, you have both a rubber foot just to give yourself some stability on harder terrain, like your pavement or concrete areas. And then you also have a cutout for a stake if you want to stake this down to your softer terrain. Stakes are not included, but we have plenty of options available for you here at Etrailer if you wanna add them on. We set up our light here inside one of our install bays, so I couldn't really find an area that was large enough to really show off that huge range.
But even in our dark day, our light still illuminates most of the room. Now, we'll go through some of the different modes, but I would like to talk about the button that I'm using to change those modes. It is stored or can be stored underneath the light, and when you have it in your hands, you can use this from up to 50 feet away. We have different light modes and then we have different brightness settings. So if you press the main middle button, you'll turn the light on and off, this is gonna be the main flood light. At its highest setting, you have 2600 lumens of output, and this will last up to six hours on a full charge. If you want less of a light output, you can press the minus button, and now we have our minimum output, which can last up to 30 hours, very helpful at the campsite if you don't wanna bother your neighbors. If you click on mode, you then change the lights to a red light, so this is the lowest setting there. And holding the plus sign, we're gonna increase the brightness to its maximum. You'll know when it blinks, and this is our brightest red light. And finally, we have the flasher setting where your light flashes a white light. Going back to our main setting, we can go up and down those brightness settings until we have our brightest output. With this being set up outdoors, it does have a weather rating of IP54. And what that means is that it can hold up to some water as well as the dust that might be out and about. However, if it's gonna be a lot of rain and even a thunderstorm, I do recommend packing the light up real quick, not just because it could fall over, but also the last thing you want when there's lightning about is something that could potentially operate as a lightning rod. Compared to other lights, since the tubing is not made of metal but rather a plastic, I'm not too concerned, but still something to be mindful of. If you do need to pack it down real quick, that's very fast and easy to do. The tubes as they telescope out, they lock with friction, so there isn't particularly a thread that you're working with but rather, you're just turnin
