“76% of people are open to being chatted up in real life" say Vogue, which brings us to this week’s episode, where we talk about a new social experiment that has popped up. If millions of people around the world wore a little ring on their finger to signal they're part of this community, we wouldn't need dating apps they promise us, which we do not take to heart as we are in the marketing business ourselves.
It is called the ‘Pear ring’ and in real life connection is the mission.
We talked about opportunities that artificial intelligence may give parts of the population who could benefit from this additional interface, or projection of humanness
Aged populations who can have a companion
Neurodiverse or socially anxious people
As a companion through life, romantically or not
How dating has changed in today’s world and why people are frustrated with the apps.
