We have some great updates about assassins creed mirage as ubisoft has dropped a ton of details about 9th century Bagdad and there are some more accessible locations in the game and believe me no update has got me more excited about mirage than this one and that’s not even it we also have some new gameplay footage and images of mirage that have just been released.

Alright The narrative director of Mirage Sara Beaulieu mentioned some very important and amazing facts about the time and setting of mirage and said that the Abbasid Empire which had reached from Algeria to India was a period of great scientific discovery.

Bagdad in mirage will be highly inspired by the historical texts available on the subject like GUY Le Strange’s Book “Baghdad During the Abbasid Caliphate” and the experts involved in the project were Dr Glaire Anderson who is a specialist in Islamic Art and history during the Caliphal Period and Ubisoft Montreal’s historian Dr Raphael Weyland.
We also have a glimpse of the in game MAP of mirage where we can see the four districts of Baghdad The Abbasiyah, The Harbiyah, The round city in the center and The Karkh. These 4 will have very distinct looks and different crowds.
Abbasiyah will be the cultural hub and the house of wisdom where scholars of the time, philosophers, astronomers and scientists gather and impart knowledge is located here man I just can’t wait to see all this stuff an I am so hyped for this now.
Karkh will be the market district where all the business dealing happen and there will be very dense crowds here who happen to trade goods from china, Constantinople, and Spain.
Harbiyah will be the industrial district is dense and grimy part of the city because the slavers, orphans, thugs and workers all try to make a living at the same place.
And who can forget the round city at the center of Baghdad where all the decision of Baghdad are taken from. This city was also know at the time as Madinat As Salam which translates to The City Of Peace.
The caliphate palace has also been revealed and to immerse players futher in the game each hour of the day will have different lighting which make it more realistic to play.
AND the most special part is the ADHAAN which the players will be able to hear in the background from time to time as day passes while passing near the mosque and if they make it more realistic you will hear it five times a day as Adan is the call to prayer and Muslims pray at minimum five times a day after cleaning themselves through a cleaning process called ablution.
Albright coming the some key figures here folks we had mentioned in this video that Ali Bin Mohammad will be featured in Mirage and the same happened but its not only him. Ubisoft has revealed another historical person and it seems he is Alkindi. They have also revealed the banu musa brothers who were instrumental in inventing different tools and mechanics in that era and they will be helping basim and the hidden one with their inventions. Doesn’t this remind us of ezio and da vinchi.
It has also been revealed that there will be short narrative side quests named as the Tales of Baghdad which will touch the key cultural subjects of that era like astronomy or literature. There is also history of Baghdad feature with old classic codex format where people can learn a lot about the locations people or cultures of Baghdad.
The crowd blending has been reiterated and sara bealiue has mentioned there will be larger opportunities to blend in at streets specially in the markets.
They have first time revealed people from multiple religions in mirage as was the case in Baghdad at that time and all the people lived together very peacefully and as a result there will be very diverse clothes languages and iconography in mirage.
