Описание: Bird life at the Feeder... A gift from my oldest daughter's family at our 2025 Christmas get together ... Averaging about 130 to 230 "events" at the feeder daily... I edit the very short ones out... then actually edit sections out of others and periodically slow down certain sections. Every day the Cardinals tend to hog the feeder. I also get a lot of visits from Carolina Wren, Carolina Chickadee, Tufted Tit-Mouse, and Blue Jay... The Carolina Wren will sometimes stay at the feeder and eat seeds just like the Cardinals... The Chickadee seldom stay.. as they have to actually peck the seed from the shell since their jaws are not strong enough to crack open the shell. Blue Jays can swallow many seeds at once by storing them in a temporary throat pouch called a crop, allowing them to carry large quantities to a safe spot to eat later or cache (hide) for future meals, sometimes holding over 100 sunflower seeds or a dozen peanuts in one go before flying off.
