Trading account is the first step of final account that is prepared to find out gross profit or gross loss of business organization. It consists of two sides 'Debit' & 'Credit'. All direct expenses are shown in debit side and direct incomes are shown in credit side of trading account. All the expenses relating to purchase of goods & day to day operation of the factory are direct expenses. Direct income is earned through direct business activities like by sale of goods or providing services.
