In response to the Coronavirus I am doing a live class every Friday at 10am to keep people feeling motivated as well as mindful of taking care of their body at this time of self-isolation and lockdown. All the exercises are low impact with an emphasis on building core strength and flexibility.
This class contains a lot of weight bearing exercises which will boost the metabolism, which in turn helps you burn calories even when you're not exercising. Did you know muscles use more energy? So if you exercise regularly and build your muscle strength you will start to burn more fat even when you are sitting still. My recommendation for weight loss as well as building strength is to do this workout on a regular basis- ideally three times a week. There are a mix of exercises to challenge your mind as well as body, and as always just do what you can. The session is followed by a Q & A which I will also do each week so bring your questions next Friday. In the meantime, please share with your friends and family.
