The AquaNaut is based largely on the Poolvergnuegen the PoolCleaner that Hayward aquired last year. That is good because the PoolCleaner is the best cleaner on the market and I have 16 of them in the pools on my route.

The AquaNaut takes the PoolCleaner design and basically enhances the styling. The AquaNaut has a great color scheme, and now comes with the darker colored hoses and parts. It alos has a very nice handle on top and the Swivel is now just one peice.

Since it borrows the PoolCleaner design and gearing you know right off that the engineering is solid. This cleaner is built to last for years without any major part overhalls. You will just need to change the rubber tires when they wear down and that is it. Some on my route are approaching the 6 year mark and I haven't done anything to them.

The AquaNaut also comes with a 2 year warrranty so rest assured you are getting a quality product. It is also easy to install (video coming soon).

The V-Flex turbine is perfect for pools with large debris. Plus the AquaNaut comes with three different throat sizes so the suction is highly adjustable.

As far as wall climbing ability, simply insert the Large Throat and if your pool has sufficent suction it will climb up to the tile line in your pool (pool surface is also a factor).

As noted in the title this is a suction side cleaner so it works off of your existing pool pump from either the skimmer ot or a side poer/ vacuum port in your pool.

So there are many great things about the Hayward AquaNaut. I highly recommend it.
