First week in Melbourne.
Still finding my feet. Still learning the roads.
Instead of planning routes or chasing landmarks, I decided to ride with locals.
Group rides feel like the fastest way to understand a city how it moves, where people ride, and what matters.
This was my first one the Maapaccino Friday Ride from MAAP Lab Melbourne.
An easy, social ride around Yarra Boulevard, waiting after each lap so everyone stays together.
No pressure, no racing, just riding and talking.
After the ride, I kept going.
Following a recommendation, exploring a bit more, letting the city unfold naturally.
It’s only week one, but Melbourne is already starting to feel familiar.
