Gragas Bot – The Rabble-Rouser AI | League of Legends
Gragas is a disruptive AP bruiser/mage who wins fights through burst combos, crowd control, and powerful displacement. He’s one of the most interesting champions for bot spectating because his kit involves delayed spells, channel timing, and combo logic that can either look genius—or completely whiff.
In this video, the focus is on how the Gragas Bot manages ability timing around his sustain passive, lands Body Slam engages, and uses Explosive Cask to either isolate targets or completely reshape a teamfight.
🔹 Abilities Overview
Passive – Happy Hour
After casting an ability, Gragas periodically heals for a percentage of his maximum health. This gives him surprising sustain in extended fights and trades.
AI-wise, this can influence how aggressively the bot trades—does it weave spells to trigger heals consistently and survive longer skirmishes?
Q – Barrel Roll
Gragas rolls a cask to a target location. It sits for a few seconds and “ferments,” increasing its damage and slow strength, and can be detonated early with a recast.
This tests bot patience and zoning: does it place barrels to control space, wait for stronger fermentation when safe, and detonate at the right moment to catch targets?
W – Drunken Rage
Gragas channels briefly to gain damage reduction, then empowers his next basic attack with bonus magic damage (including a max-health component) in an AoE around the target.
This is a clear AI timing check: does the bot pre-buff before engaging, use the damage reduction to survive burst, and actually convert the empowered auto instead of wasting it?
E – Body Slam
A forward dash that damages and stuns on collision, knocking enemies back slightly. If Gragas hits an enemy, the cooldown is partially refunded. Q and R can be cast during the dash, enabling signature combo patterns.
This is the core engage tool—great for evaluating whether the bot picks good angles, hits consistent stuns, and uses the cooldown refund to chain pressure.
R – Explosive Cask
Gragas throws a massive cask that explodes, dealing magic damage and knocking enemies away from the center—creating powerful picks, disengages, or teamfight splits.
For spectating, this is the highlight: does the bot use R to isolate a carry, peel divers off allies, or accidentally save enemies by knocking them to safety?
🤖 What Makes the Gragas Bot Interesting?
Smart Q zoning and detonation timing (ferment vs. instant pop)
Pre-fight W usage for damage reduction + empowered auto conversion
Consistent E engages with good angle selection and stun reliability
Combo logic (casting Q/R during Body Slam) for burst and control
Fight-shaping ultimate decisions: isolate, disengage, or split teams
Gragas is chaotic in the best way: every fight becomes a question of timing and geometry. When the Gragas Bot hits clean Body Slams, layers barrels correctly, and uses Explosive Cask to separate priority targets, the result is a highlight-machine style of gameplay that’s perfect for spectating.
