Описание: Crossing the English Channel by Parachute on 31 August 1980 by some members of the British Military.
Their operatrion, codenamed Operation Courage’80, had the blessing of our Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
They successfully carried out this operation but unfortunately did not evade capture by the local French gendarme.

Details of Operation Courage ’80’s challenges and training is documented by means of a running commentary and supported by a multitude of images of the various letters of congratulations received by them including a letter from 10 Downing Street, London.

In addition to all this is the faith of the Wessex helicopter pilots who, without permission, diverted to the teams LZ in France to rescue as many of them before the French gendarme arrived and carted the rest of them to the ‘Nick’. And the eventual escape of the captured Brits who, using tact and guile, poured English Ale down the throats of the gendarme and escaped on a private flight back to ‘Blighty’ and into fame, not only from the media, but also from our PM Margaret Thatcher.
