Palitaw is probably one of the easiest kakanins or Philippine Rice cakes to make, This is best served with hot tea or coffee.
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/4 cups powdered malagkit, Mochiko flour (sticky rice or glutinous rice) or you may also use ready made galapong (available in the any Philippine palengke, check stores that sell sago and gulaman)
2/3 cup water (omit this if you're using ready made galapong)
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
freshly grated coconut
