Take a blissful 22km beach bike ride from one of Australia's best kept secrets to one of its most visited tourist destinations - Palm Beach to Southport on the Gold Coast. The weather is pumping out the heat at 28C (82F) and the time is 11am. Super high humidity and the end of the tourism season has resulted in less people on the walk & bike path :)
Along the way we cycle through Tallebudgera Beach, Burleigh Heads, Miami, Mermaid Beach, Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Main Beach, and finally Southport. The Southport Parklands featured in this video were built for the 2018 Commonwealth Games and include water parks, boating piers and a nature reserve.
