I am an aspiring composer living in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I’ve been writing music for nearly 2 decades and have a wide ranging taste. I’m interested in making introspective, philosophical, self-reflective music. Music from a leftist political perspective criticizing capitalism and this world and culture. My goal is to create music that inspires others to embark on their own creative journeys. That makes someone reflect or have insights. Music that generates a great deal of creative and intellectual energy for an audience.

Specifically with this album my intention was to create something that blended history with the quiet reflection that occurs when we are lying in bed about to fall asleep. I thought it could loosely follow the narrative of someone who had become overwhelmed by social media and the consumption of news who decides to hop into a submarine and get away from it all. Then I started thinking about how it would sound if someone were to travel backwards through the past century and a half of sound. Taking that and combining it with a soothing and meditative music that could maybe serve as a comfort. Like a lullaby and a blanket that gradually brings us out of the madness and constant buzzing of our contemporary life into a sweet relaxing silence.
