Most people talk about “AI risk” as if it’s one problem with one solution. It isn’t. Some risks come from what AI systems do by default (like hallucinations and sycophancy). Some come from what leaders and teams do with them (like sharing the wrong data, leaking IP, or over-delegating accountability). And some come from what happens when you don’t act at all (shadow AI use and skill erosion across the organisation).

You’ll learn why hallucinations aren’t an edge case, they’re a certainty, and why the real danger is when someone treats an output as fact and makes a decision that only shows its damage later. We’ll also look at how AI’s “agreeable” behaviour can create an echo chamber for leadership assumptions.

On the organisational side, we cover practical problems leaders regularly miss: data protection exposure, strategy and insight being absorbed into systems, deteriorating quality from over-automation, and employees using AI tools without governance or visibility.
