Part 1 Observatory Build. How I Built My DIY Telescope Pier

Описание: In this video I show you how I built my telescope pier. From pouring the concrete to seeing the finished product with my mount and scope mounted on it. I also share my views on piers and why I built mine the way I did.

Below are the links for all the main items I used to construct the pier. Please be aware that some of the stuff has jumped up in price (alot) so what you see does not reflect what I payed. Also I got a discount on some things. The total cost for the build including Cement, ballast, wood, rebar, waste pipe/bends, nuts and washers was £252.

Of course you could bring that cost down by getting second hand or shopping around.

In the video I keep saying M20 Rods for some reason which is not what I used. The Rods were M12.
