BREAKFAST
GHEE BULLET COFFEE
1. Ingredients:
1 mug of water
1 tsp coffee
1 tsp coconut oil or ghee
1 tsp cinnamon powder
COUS-COUS SALAD
1. Ingredients:
1⁄2 cup (dry weight) whole wheat couscous
1 cup water
1⁄3 - 1⁄2 bowls boiled chickpeas OR Green peas (If you have gases or flatulence, kindly use green peas instead of chickpeas)
1⁄2 bowl chopped mixed bell peppers
1⁄2 bowl corn
1⁄2 bowl lettuce
1 tbsp. cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
Herbs - 1 tsp dried basil, 1 tsp mixed italian herbs, 2-3 tbsp. fresh coriander leaves, salt and black pepper to taste
1 tbsp. lemon juice
MINESTRONE SOUP
1. Ingredients:
1⁄2 - 3⁄4 cup boiled Kidney Beans
1 bay leaf
2 chopped garlic cloves
1 cup chopped Green Capsicum, red and yellow Bell Peppers 2 medium ribs of chopped celery
To make 1 cup tomato paste – 2 vine ripened tomatoes + 1 soaked dates + 1⁄2 cup boiled butternut squash
2 cups chopped seasonal vegetables (carrots, courgette, corn, green beans)
1 chopped Onion
A handful of fresh basil leaves
Seasoning - 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder, 1⁄2 tsp Black pepper powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp dried oregano and basil, 1⁄2 tsp mixed italian herbs, 1⁄2 tsp apple cider Vinegar OR 1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
