Happy New Year!
Everyone, how will you spend New Year’s?
It is an essential duty of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan to build and operate state-of-the-art astronomical facilities, providing world leading capabilities for astronomers in Japan and other countries to produce leading-edge scientific results.
Last year, we started construction of TMT on the summit of Mauna Kea and ALMA produced an awe inspiring image of a celestial object.
In the coming year, we hope to introduce everyone to more NAOJ activities like these.
