This winter brought some of the best swell in years to KZN, with powerful Southern Ocean groundswells lighting up the coast for weeks.
Here are two waves from an unforgettable session at a right-hand reef break off the Bluff in Durban. Captured from the water by Marno Langeveldt, who spent most of the season sidelined with a broken foot, this GoPro footage highlights the clean lines and hollow sections that made this swell so special.
