The MICRO2 expander is a pure bone-borne orthodontic mini-implant supported expander.
Its retention arms are extremely stable for greatest forces and torques. Activation with the flat spanner can be done quickly and easily by the patient on the hexagonal nut. By changing the hexagonal nut for the next biggest, the expander can be used to continue expanding.
Pure bone-borne, no dental side effects
Dental arches can be treated separately but at the same time
Simple and easy insertion and removal
Very rigid expander
Example of use:
Claudia is 11 years old patient. She had a significant narrow palate which needed to be expanded. Thanks to the bone borne expander (MICRO 2) she could easily and slowly expand er maxilla by activating the MICRO 2 with the wrench.
