Morro Bay is a great place to slow down. Walk the marina, eat a delicious cinnamon roll, watch the fishing boats enter and exit the dock, and the plethora of sea otters live their playful life. It's a great place to take a boat cruise or rent paddleboards or kayaks and enjoy the calm crystal clear waters.
For $15 you can cruise the bay in that tiki boat. For $20 you can enjoy a sunset cruise.
ADA: There is a paved path that takes you the length of the State Park, offering some excellent views of the bay. Accessible restrooms are located adjacent to the Bayside Café.
