Toronto's chief medical officer of health, Dr. Eileen de Villa, spoke on Thursday about the latest developments concerning the COVID-19 outbreak in the city, with 128 confirmed cases in Toronto and 11 currently hospitalized as of 1 p.m. ET.
She said many businesses have complied with orders to close to follow social distancing measures, but stressed that non-essential businesses that remained open should close immediately in order to successfully limit the spread of the virus.
