Rajesh Prasad started his journey as a farmer when he first came to Delhi. He was young and ambitious. He attended flying school and became a pilot in the Indian Air Force. In 1979, he met Indira Gandhi as he was aiming to contest elections. On receiving his ticket, Pilot quit the Air Force and contested elections, winning from Bharatpur and then from Dausa.
