Welcome to a new video series that I call "Let’s make". It is less restoration focused but aims on making things from stuff I have on hand.
Today, we'll make a print server for vintage printers that allows us to print over the network to an old daisywheel printer that I restored in a previous video.
A while ago, I bought an ADVANTECH embedded PC module. It has a Pentium-III processor and old-school parallel and serial ports, as well as VGA and PS2 ports.
Let's see if we can turn it into a network print server with parallel printer support.
