Stromatopelma calceatum also known as the feather-leg baboon tarantula, was first described by Johan Christian Fabricius in 1793, It is found in West Africa.

This little spicy tamale was gifted into my care by ‪@NatalieAnnePetsandPlaces‬ and I am truly thankful to have her in my collection, thank you so much Nat!

I really enjoyed housing this tarantula even if it did nearly cause me to have a heart attack!
