Este video documenta un experimento de torneado de un cuenco de Cerezo Silvestre con madera que aún tiene un contenido relativamente alto de humedad (madera verde), torneando la madera bastante fina para proceder al acabado del cuenco sin esperar varios meses a que seque.
**This video documents an experiment of turning a Cherry wood bowl that has a still high level of humidity (green wood), turning the walls pretty thin and proceeding to the finishing of the bowl without waiting months for it to dry.**

En algún video futuro mostraré qué fue lo que pasó con el cuenco luego de varios meses de torneado, para ver si rajó, deformó, o se mantuvo sano.
**In some future video I will show what happened to the bowl several months after it was turned, to see if it cracked, deformed or if remained intact.**

El espesor final de la pared del cuenco quedó entre 1 y 4 milímetros, esto ocasionó que el mismo se deformara un poco aún estando en el torno, y esto a su vez generó algunos problemas con el torneado y el acabado. Quizás se pueda evitar esto, torneando y acabando la pared desde el borde a la base por secciones, para ver si se evita la deformación prematura del cuenco antes de lograr aplicar el acabado final.
**The final thickness of the wall was between 1/16 and 3/16 of an inche. This make the bowl to deform a bit even when still was on the lathe and produced some problems with the turning and the finishing. Perhaps this could be avoided by turning and finishing by sections from the border to the base, and see if that would avoid the premature shifting of the circular shape before applying the finish.**
