Cycling Around Kenya Days 16 & 17
After the rollercoaster cycling in gravel roads, we went to see the family who Peyman met two years ago. @marilynknows7 has stopped on the side of the road while driving with a motorbike (budabuda?) and invited him to their home because she said ”That guy has an interesting story to tell for sure”. And that’s how they met!
Now we cycled to meet them again and Sailor got to meet the family for the first time. Such a warm and welcoming feeling from the beginning and the boys of the family are such personalities, super cool guys 🤩
It was a shame we needed to leave but bikes needed to get rolling towards Maasai Mara because we still have 70km to cycle. We were able to do some bigger groceries in Narok town and fill up our coffee and oat storage (and Peyman’s baby food…) and head to Mara. Then we will spend the Christmas over there and let’s see where the head is pointing after that!
