Looking to secure and annex the regions of Holstein and Schleswig, the now old King Henry I mounted a new expedition towards Denmark at 934.
He unified the northern Jutland Peninsula with the rest of Germany, defeating and conquering many of the Danish Kingdoms in the process, sadly his desire for power wasn't compatible with his remaining days of life and this would be his final expedition because after returning home victorious and getting recognized as a strong leader by his neighbouring allies at 935 and them becoming his subordinates, Henry suddenly passed away, not completing his dreams of marching to Italy and claiming the Pope's position as Pope himself and becoming a possible Pope and Holy Roman Emperor, but still he left a powerful Kingdom to his son Otto I who also used it well.
