Nifty 50 Crashes Again! Sharp Fall Below 26,000 | 8 December 2025

Описание: Hello guys, a very warm welcome to all of you on our channel, SMTA Learn. I’m really excited to take you through today’s market action, so let’s dive straight into it.

Today is Monday, 8 December 2025, and the Nifty 50 opened with a gap down of 27 points at 26,159. Right after the opening, the index managed to touch the day’s high at 26,178. But immediately after forming the high, the market started showing a sharp decline. Throughout the first half of the session, Nifty somehow managed to hold itself above the 26,000 mark, trying to sustain despite visible weakness.

However, as we entered the second half of the trading session, the pressure intensified, and Nifty finally broke below the crucial 26,000 level. The market continued sliding downward and made the day’s low at 25,892. Eventually, the index closed below the 26,000 mark at 25,960, which means today’s closing was 255 points lower compared to Friday’s closing level.

Now let’s move on to the top performers and underperformers of the Nifty 50 for the day. The top gainers in today’s session were Tech Mahindra Limited and Wipro Limited, both showing strength despite the overall negative sentiment in the market. On the other hand, the top losers for the day were InterGlobe Aviation Limited, also known as Indigo, and Bharat Electronics Limited, which came under notable selling pressure.

Next, let’s take a quick look at the important support and resistance levels for Nifty 50 for Tuesday, 9 December 2025, based on pivot points. The nearby resistance levels are placed at 26,047, followed by 26,124, and the higher resistance at 26,264. On the downside, the immediate support levels are at 25,907, then 25,829, and deeper support lies at 25,751.
