“The Riflebirds of Portland,” known to 80s Portland simply as “The Riflebirds”, were a staple of PDX's vibrant music scene from 1985 to 1989, earning a loyal following and consistent critical acclaim. They headlined at iconic Portland venues such as the Pyramid Club, Cafe Oasis, Satyricon, Key Largo, and the Last Hurrah, and enjoyed a residency at the east side Dublin Pub. During their initial run, they released two celebrated singles, "Dreaming Of A Kiss / A Thousand Days" and "Might As Well Stay / On A Day Like Today," as well as a full-length album, "April."

35 years later, The Riflebirds reunited in Summer 2024 to record several new songs for their highly anticipated upcoming album, "Windmills on the Moon."
