Unity Mall to Go Ahead; New Site Being Identified: Rohan Khaunte

Описание: Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte said the PM Unity Mall project will go ahead and the government is in the process of identifying a new site for it. He stated that the administrative process for finalising the new location is underway.

Khaunte added that the Chimbel Panchayat has withheld ₹1 crore paid by the government for the construction licence and is not ready to refund the amount until the site is restored. He said the government cannot restore the site until the new location for the project is finalised.

The Minister clarified that the Cabinet approval was only for land identification, while the Unity Mall project itself was an administrative decision.
