After such a positive response to the previous retrospectives, it was only right to keep going—and THUG2 is next in line. This entry brought some of the best gameplay and soundtrack in the entire franchise, but also a story mode that’s… very much a product of its time.

In this video, I break down THUG2’s gameplay, level design, wild story mode, bonus content, and unforgettable soundtrack—and answer the question: Does it still hold up today?
