The main conclusion that video provides is that fact that so much hardware performance gets wasted by unused die space for nvidia-like RT acceleration. Nvidia is simply trying to re-invent rendering to be more biased to their hardware, but the more compute shaders residue our pipelines use (which are always increasing), the more Nvidia's plans fail. Nvidia's RT cores only help if a MASSIVE amount of unoptimized traces takes place: which the whole point of the rebranded "path tracing" but isn't a real help over properly done rasterized graphics. In other words: better compute shader performance means better performance in many areas' that make nvidia-HWRT pointless if you are trying to provide optimized raytracing (minimized reflections attributes, basic RTAO, etc).
