Описание: Nag Ashwin is an Indian film director and screenwriter. After completion of a cinematography course at The New York Film Institute, he began his film industry career as an assistant director for the psychological thriller, ‘Nenu Meeku Telusaa?’. Following this, he worked as an assistant director for the critically acclaimed political drama, ‘Leader’ and the coming of age drama, ‘Life is beautiful’. After the grand success of his short film, ‘Yaadon ki Baraat’, which was selected for ‘Cannes Short Film Corner’, he made his directorial debut in Tollywood with ‘Yevade Subramanyam’. The film, which followed the story of an ambitious youngster’s journey of self discovery, was a critical and commercial success and won him the Nandi award for the Best Debut Director. Recently, he worked as a writer-director for the biographical drama film, ‘Mahanati’, which was based on the life and times of the legendary yesteryear actress Savitri.The film garnered accolades from the critics and was a box office blockbuster. The film was a grand success and received love and appreciation from all quarters. Nag Ashwin is an Indian film director and screenwriter.
