When knowledge is abundant yet attention and independent judgment grow scarce, we seem lost in Borges’ “Library of Babel.” Yet it is through doubt, challenge, and reconstruction that cognition spirals upward—from affirmation to negation, and back to deeper understanding. Though individual lives are finite, the human quest for truth never ends. Like building a tower without a top, books and knowledge crystallize this ascent, symbolizing civilization’s step-by-step progress in the endless journey toward wisdom.
For this reason, I have built this “library” in the form of a game. It is not only a metaphor in words, but also an experience players can personally engage in: to feel both loss and pursuit in exploration and ascent, and to witness how human civilization advances and transforms amid the flood of information.
